I posted a question about rotating a video clip a moment ago and have
since figured out that rotating the clip wasn't the problem at all.
I had to convert the clip from a .mov to a .avi file to use it in
Movie Maker. It plays okay in Media Player, a little less well when
I import it into Movie Maker, and terribly when I drag it onto the
timeline. What could be causing the decrease in quality and how can
I fix it?
==============================
The viewer in Movie Maker shows clips
at reduced quality...try saving the movie
and see if it improves...also you may find
that using a custom profile can help.
To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /

Next /
Show More Choices /

Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...
To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
