Hank

We are trying to capture our church services on our
computer. We record live to both VHS recorder (via RCA
connectors) and to the computer (via Firewire and Nero
VisionExpress) and the capture process goes fine. The
problems we are having are as follows:

1. WinDVD Producer imports the file fine and we can move
---it to the time line with no problem. When we try to
---play it the program goes into a loop. We have to use
---task manager to cancel the program. No help from the
---vendor.

2. Nero VisionExpress actually completes the whole
---process from import thru burning (VCD, SVCD & DVD) but
---when we play the CD/DVD the video is fine but the
---sound is in slow motion. No help from the vendor.

3. Can't use WMM2 due to the output file type being
---incompatible with DVD players.

Thanks to anyone that replies with help.

I had the same problem, the system don't want to know the FireWire card. Was
told by the pc shop that there was a bug in Win XP SP1 and I had to fomat
the hd, install xp + other program again from scratch....
Didn't format the hd, but installed xp + prog. fresh. FireWire works fine
on the pc, but not the scanner, don't want to recognize the USB hardware.
It is important to format the hd to get rid of the bug..(s). :-(
