CBVideoProblems

I am trying to set up a Video conferfence using Windows
Messenger on an XP system. We get a trying to connect
message but thats all that happens until a disconnect
message appears. We took out the routers -same results.

We can sent messages and files but not video or audio.

Does any one have a working system and would be willing
to help me debug ??

The ONLY way I got it to work was to connect directly to the dsl modem and not use the router at all... (even tho the dmz controls were at 0 and open to all!!!)

Are you using any software firewall, such as ICF or ZoneAlarm ?

Did you log in as an Administrator, or as a Limited User ?

I've been told audio/video do not work if you use ICF, while logged in with
an account that is not an Administrator.

Let me know if you use ZoneAlarm, since ZA has a particular issue/solution.
