Hi..

I have problem inserting a video. I have inserted my video by embedding an
action to a picture so that, when i click to the picture the video will open
the windows media player and play the video.

The problem now, i am distributing my presentation, the video wont play..
its says cannot locate the file. I have inserted the video file and the pps
into the same folder.

It still works when i move it to a different folder or even a different
drive within my computer. It just dont work when i move them to other
computer.

Please help. Anythink i missed??? Thx much.

If you've inserted the video as a linked OLE object, then putting it in the
same folder won't help. Linked OLE obects always contain the full path to the
linked file (unlike media files inserted via Insert, Sound/Movie From File)
It still works when i move it to a different folder or even a different

Sure, because the file you've linked to is still where it originally was.

If you absolutely must use inserted objects for some reason, and you might,
it'll probably work if you make sure that you've set up the same directory
structure on the target computer as on yours and put all the files in the same
relative spots.
