Hi,
I have a Compaq Presario V2000 whose video went haywire last week.
The screen is mostly orange/reds and pale blue/greens when the lid is opened
more
than 45 degree when I turn it on. After about 15 minutes, normal video
can
be had up to about 100 degrees open. If the lid/screen opened any further,
then its all orange/reds and pale blue/greens.
I changed all the video settinns in the bios and the desk top properties to
no avail.
Any ideas much appriciated.
Thanks,
Al

You've got a mechanical connection failing between your mainboard and the
LCD panel in your notebook. There probably isn't much you can do about it,
time for a new notebook. -
