If you have the video system built into the motherboard (that is, no
separate video card) you might be able to do that within the BIOS setup.
When booting up, look for the prompt on what key(s) to press to get into the
BIOS (typcially F1, F2, Delete...)
Look in there for any option to allocate more system memory to video usage.

try. My computer has had Windows XP Plus once before,
but when I formatted the drive I must have done something
