After upgrading to Office 2003 PowerPoint problems started. First, videos would not play in current ppt presentations. I was advised from Microsoft that the install wiped out my codecs so we downloaded an mpplayer and codecs from a third party web site.
Now when attempting to insert video into new presentations a PowerPoint error comes up and shuts the program down. The error's "modname" is "mciqtz32.dll". The Microsoft "technician" at office 2003 couldn't figure out an answer so he sent me to XP. The XP tech said nothing is wrong with XP so reinstall the office 2003.
I did and the same problem exists.
Please help!
