Video in a presentation

Hi
In the next month I have a presentation and the organizers request me
to send the powerpoint presentation with 15 days of anticipation. I
already have it, but when sending it, the presentation does not run in
their pc the video (.avi) inserted in the presentation. Is there anyway
to solve this problem appart of sending the video + the presentation?
Thanks in advance for your help

The video is linked and you will need to send it along with the presentation.
Best practice is to place it in the same folder as presentation then insert
it - send the whole folder

Did that answer the question / help?

I converted my video into a flash file so that it's properly embedded into
the PowerPoint. It works really well although, obviously it does mean a much
larger file size. I just couldn't trust my users to make sure they copied
the video file to the right location. It also seems to be quicker at
launching the video when you get to the slide with the video on it.

Be aware that this requires the other PCs to have the SWF control installed
and registered on the PC. It will also cause them to get a *possible* virus
warning.

Be ware any audio or video clips inserted in PowerPoint ask for the
correct player to play.Or it can not run appropriately.

To converter presentation to flash is a way to make a small PPT file
But it needs a flash player installed in PC.
