I am getting system error messages and windows shut down. The error message says my video graphics driver has crashed and it refers me to the mfg of the driver NVIDIA Corp with an web address. I have accessed this but they refer me back to the computer mfg (Dell) My screen is distorted when I log on and stretches. Does anybody know a patch or fix for this problem. Some people have told me that a virus might have caused this.I have full protection from Mcafee and when I scan for virus I show none.Help,help,help.

Try R.clicking my computer,properties,device mgr,expand display adapter
R.click on it,select,uninstall,then close out,shut-down computer.XP will reloa
the drivers for it on restart.Back on desktop,go to microsoft/downloads,reinstal
Direct X,you might also chk windows update for drivers.Either the graphic
controller works or it doesnt, reinstalling drivers and/or direct x isnt youre mai
problem.You can also type:Msinfo32 In run,hardware,problem devices,for info.
