Video freezes system

When I try to play a video clip, my system freezes up and
can only be releases by cutting the power. CRT-ALT-DEL
will not shut down the syste. Then when I reboot the
system, the video clip will work. Does any one know what
is wrong and how I can fix it.

Steve, when you figure this out, please let me know...I have the same exact
