Could someone please tell me what video format would be
best to include in PowerPoint. Also, what would be a
recommended size if the presentation is going to be
displayed via a projector. Thanks in advance.

My personal fav is a true MPEG1 file.

It's not the best quality....but it is the most reliable.

The optimum resolution of a video clip for a projector that can only display 800x600 pixels would be a 800x600 pixel
video clip.

However, not all computers can display a 30frame per second 800x600 pixel video clip properly.

So it's always a trade off between quality and speed.
