Video file .wmv won't play on Monitor 2

An embedded wmv won't play on Powerpoint 2003 on Monitor 2. (data projector).
An avi file appears fine. the wmv plays in Media Player, and on Monitor 1,
but that's it. Upgraded to Windows Media PLayer 11 recently. COuld that be
the problem, cause I know that Media PLayer, Powerpoint and Movie Maker use
common files.
 
Excellent - reduced Graphics Accellerator a couple of notches and did the
trick. Nice work - thanks.
