You appear to have a model of JVC camcorder that is only sold in the Asian
market (specifically, as far as I can see, the United Arab Emirates).... as
such, it does not appear to have firewire capability, only USB.
WindowsMovieMaker is not set up for capture from USB ports, therefore you
will have to use a third party software to capture from. You might see what
JVC themselves recommend.
I use PowerDirector (
www.gocyberlink.com) to capture analog video, but I
have no experience in capturing digital video through a USB port. I believe
Cyberlink offer a trial version so you might want to experiment in using
different capturing software packages. Intervideo also offer
one(
www.intervideo.com). I just happen to have got PowerDirector with my
VIVO graphics card and like it for analog video.
