video file access

when i click on one of my drives to get to my saved video file one of my
files the file lettering is in green i right click go to properties then
advanced the encrypt box is checked and it wont let me uncheck it it tells me
access is denide please help

Ask the user who encrypted it to logon and decrypt it.

Did you follow the Encrypted File System best practices...?

If you encrypted it - you should be able to decrypt it...

Unless there is something you are leaving out...
- Is this a new/different computer than the one you originally encrypted the
file on?
- Do you have your backed up certificate? (See link above)
- What operating system are you trying all this on?
(Windows XP - yes - Windows XP what? Home (this will be impossible)?
Professional? Media Center? TabletPC? x64?)

You might be able to take ownership of it and delete it - if you don't want
the stuff...
