Video error no TV picture

I have just set up my new computer and set up the media
centre but when i click my TV i comes up with Video Error
files needed to display video are missing or corrupt.
please restart media centre and or computer. i have
restarted both and it doesnt help. i can play DVD's fine.
please help.
 
I have encountered the same problem, but I was for a time able to view TV and after I detached it and tried another configuration of hook ups it now fail to start My TV and I get the same error message you do. I have updated DirectX, anythiing else that needed updateing but still no TV, I am exhaseted trying to find Sony support too.

I know it been some month since the first post, but did you sort the
problem, because I've got the same problem now.
