I tried MovieXone and got angry... last version doesn't work and claims
about some kind of dll I haven't...
I liked abc videoroll but got some problems while trying to render...
So, got a question. Could you tell me about some good Premiere-like
freeware?

Nothing as powerful as Premiere

ABC VideoRoll was probably the best but the company no longer exsits

Zwei-Stein Video Editor. I'll call it "fair". It works for me, but it
ain't PremierePro. But, it doesn't cost a bazillion $$$, either.

Tried, and got angry when discovered I couldn't import my DV AVIs but just
capture them from this piece of crap...

I like the free MS Windows MovieMaker that comes with XP.

If you install a couple of divX utilities it crashes down... and you can
only save in AVI DV or WMV formats...
