video editing / bootable DVD

i'm asking for help on ore then one issue in this post that can possibly to
apply to all of the newsgroups i am cross-posting to.

the first issue has to do with windows movie maker. how come it can't read
the recorded tv shows recorded in microsoft? is there a fix for this?

issue number two is, how can i make a CD or DVD bootable using nero express?

1) What does 'recorded in microsoft' mean? Sounds almost Latin.

2) You have to have a bootable image (diskette, bin, etc) to apply to the
CD.
Nero's built in help feature has a lot of information on this.

Thanks for using the cross posting Steven. For Moviemaker there is a
newsgroup for it where you might be more likely to get an answer to that
question. microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker
