To Whom It May Concern:
I think that somebody can help me to solve the problem with Dimension 3000 PC.
When my Windows Media Player 10 started working incorrectly, I restarted my
computer and got the next message,†…The problem seems to be caused by the
following file: ialmrnt5… The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop.
This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with device driver
programming.â€
I used recommended Dell Diagnostic tool for Dimension 3000 and learned that
my computer PASSED Video Hardware Test and DID NOT PASS VIDEO memory test,
Text Mode character test and Record, and Playback test.
When I DISABLED Intel 82865G Graphics Controller, I was able to use the
computer in Normal mode with big disadvantages-low screen resolution.
I tried to solve the problem in many recommended ways, but did not get
positive result. Now I tried to use Dell PC restore by Symantec.
On the end of the restoration I got a message,†The system is not fully
installed. Please Run Setup again. OK†I clicked “OK†and got the previous
message, “…The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ialmrnt5…â€
There is my general question: IS IT POSSIBLE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM (The
problem seems to be caused by the following file: ialmrnt5…) BY CLEAN
REINSTALLING WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION?
Thank you in advance for your response and help.
Sincerely,
Peter
