Video doesn't play audio does

A have problem similar problem.
I've made a slideshow with pictures combined with music.
Playing the composed movie (slideshow) in moviemaker works.
But the saved (and converted) movie to the hard disk gives problems.
The choise of converion type was done automatically.

When I play the saved movie the pictures are black, but the music is still
playing.

Do anyone has an idea how to fix that problem?

Did you save as a movie? The extension
would be .wmv. Or you can save as .avi if
you use the following steps:

Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

The following info may be your fix for
Sound but no Video:

From: Rehan
Movie Maker 2.1...
Audio but no Video...

It may be because the DV codec in your
system has gone astry...
