Video device failed to initialize for full screen mode.

I have installed a terminal server 2000 and I need to run a dos program in
full screen mode.
When I open the program directly from the terminal server I can switch to
the full screen mode but if I logon remotely to the terminal server and try
to run the DOS program on the full screen mode I get an error message that
says: "Video device failed to initialize for full screen mode."
I have done some research but without any result. There is a link that I
came across http://www.thedbcommunity.com/news/dos/267.htm and I tried all
the suggestions but no luck.
Anybody out there who might have had the same experience and fixed the
problem?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a known problem with DOS applications. The solution is to
install a special screen font and simulate a full screen session.
