I have the following error message: "The video device cannot be used at this time because there has been an error when starting the device". I have been coping home videos from my old analog Sony Handycam with no problems. I just purchased a new digital still camera, and after connecting the digital camera and installing the drivers, I can not copy, edit or do anything anymore with the analog Sony Handycam. How can I set Movie Maker to recognise both analog and digital, how can I get my movie making back. I have tryied to role back and this has not worked. I have movie maker 2. Must say I have had more problems with Movie Maker 2 than with MM1. I would like to also go back to MM1 but can not find the uninstal for MM2. On the Win XP Home Edition I also can not find a setup for MM1, is this correct ? How do I get MM1 back?

Thanks for any help

You can't totally remove Movie Maker, but you can revert to version 1. See
the Problem Solving > Go Back to MM1 page of www.papajohn.org

I suggest that you run MM1 and MM2 in parallel and use the best of each.
