Video Controller (VGA) Yellow ? mark

In my device manager list the video controller has a yellow ? ,question mark,
and I have clicked update driver but it cant find a driver and I have no disc
,,,, any suggestions please S
 
thanks Cari , but my pc has lost the details of the VGA so I have no way of
knowing where to go to find an update, wierd thing is ,I uninstalled it post
your msg and the next day when I turned pc back on the same yellow q mark
over video controller came up ,would it be best to buy a new graphics card ???

Thanks again Cari but when I bought my pc it was a xmas special build and it
came with no details but a amd athlon cd, so guess I learned not to buy a pc
at xmas huh!
 
wish it was that easy, it was bought with no more than amd cd , a xmas
special , so a leeson learnt !
 
If it's a separate graphics card, open the case and look on it to see what
the chipset is.

If it's on the motherboard, then printed on the motherboard itself, will be
the make and model and the drivers will be at the motherboard's website.
