If I am right.

You can watch the video clip from the collections panel - upper middle - as
it is shown in the video preview moniotr - top right.
If you put this clip on the timeline, you cannot view it in the preview
monitor.

This may be due to an incompatible file type. Movie maker works best with
dv-avi adn wmv files, other types, such as mpeg, divx can often cause the
problems you have.

Hello: Thanks Graham
Additionnal infos about my video control problem:
- files type for photos are ".jpg"
- If I place "titles" on the linetime, they also don't appear on video
control
- If I place "music or songs" they are correctly read through audio and
loudspeakers.
If this can guide you
Many thanks (from France)

"Options" "Compatibilities" "Filters" I disactived all the filters (26)
I dn't know why, but the result exist . I've done the reverse action and the
pb reappeared.
Now I'll try to reactivate each filter so to locate the responsable one;
If you agree i'll give you the result.

Is it normal? but it run !!

You certainly undertood I was just starting with Movie Maker. Now with yr
assistance plus some tenacity to succed, I am able to day, to built a
project, to save and copy it in a DVD with "SonicMyDVD": pictures, titles,
and music. The other pb I'd to solve, was option Tv format, or NTSC or PAL.
Some trails and now all run correctly!
Many thanks to you
