Newbie question, haven't found an answer after searching
the KB. First time trying to set up a video connection;
I can accept the incoming video request, see that the two
PCs are trying to connect, after about a minute
(timeout?) the video control flickers then remains blank
on both sides.

We can both chat; I rec'd his still photo, he failed to
receive mine.

My PC is running XP Pro SP1, w/ a Creative Labs camera,
through a Linksys router, into a DSL circuit. The XP
share-connection feature is turned off (redundant).

Suggestions appreciated!

Follow-up: my typo on conversation, of course, and my
camera options are grayed out.

DVZ says:
I need to figure out why my camera options are not
available.

You have accepted the request from Allan W to have a
video and voice conversation.

The video and voice conversation with Allan W has ended.

Allan W says:
I saw myself, but after you accepted the invitation it
tried to connect to your computer then gave this
message "The network or computer you are trying to reach
is experiencing a problem. Please try again later."

Hi

I am having the same problem since i bought the Linksys router and
trying to find a solution. You can view the detail in the same group,
the title is Video Conference with MSN Messenger 6.0 and Linksys
Router.

Also post this to Linksys support people.

Do let me know if you find a solution...

I've been having the same problem since upgrading past WM
4.7. Used to work under the same router settings, but
now, we can only get voice chat too connect. Application
sharing and whiteboard fail too.
