Video Clips

When I first installed xp, I could view short video clips, for example like
on Weather.com. Now when I click on it, it starts the screen and then it
just freezes. I get no error messages. Then when I click on the control alt
delete sequence the task manages comes up. It is shaky but it comes up. One
of the items I read on the bottom of the box is CPU Usage 100%. The only way
to get out of it all is to reboot. Have any idea what the problem is. I
have the current Media Player and Real Player installed. I am thinking
something in IE has changed. I even have the latest update of IE also.
 
Try installing more ram memory,also,in system properties,advanced,virtual
memory,set to "let system manage" click set 2X,restart pc

I have 2 gigs of memory. As I mentioned, when I first installed xp I could
view them. I went to systems and check what u mentioned and it was already
 
Freezes can be related to software like programs or video drivers. Or they
can be related to hardware like cpu heat, power supply problems and flaky
RAM.
Try removing RealPlayer and use an alternative like the freeware
RealAlternative http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm
Check to see if there are updates for your video card or try reinstalling
the video drivers that came with your system. If that doesn't help open the
case and ensure that the cpu fan is working, blow dust out if it if
necessary. Other hardware issues can be difficult to ferret out if you are
not an advanced user.
