video clips

whenever I start an internet video clip it stops after about 10 seconds then
starts again. I'm sure the answer is very simple, so can anyone let me know?

In a way you just said you were 'reading text in a newspaper and one of the
words was misspelled.'

What type of Internet Video clip?

What player are you using to play it?
Real Player? Media Player? Quicktime?

What version of whatever player you are using at the time do you have?

What type of Internet Connection do you have?
 
The clips are from Internet sites such as youtube, msnnews, ctv.ca,
stallonezone.....etc. I use Media Player. I have a high-speed Internet
connection.

What type of high-speed?
How is it connected to your computer?

When was the last time you scanned for malware (spyware/adware) and with
what?
