Video Clip/Phot narration

I want a certain effect but dont know how to do it (and not sure if its
possible) This is the hypothectical. I record someone telling a story for one
minutes. (picture and sound) During the middle 20 seconds I want to drop the
VIDEO portion of the recording (but keep the audio) and for those 20 seconds
show a few pictures, the come back to the video and audio clip. Im thinking
that there is no way to drop a certain portion of a clip without losing the
audio as well. Thanks for the help in advance.

In timeline view...try dragging a copy of the
movie clip to the Audio/Music track and mute
the Audio track (right click - mute).
