Photo Story 2 (included in Plus! Digital Media
Edition) has an option to make a VCD and so
does Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album 5. I'm sure
there are many more programs with the same
or similar capabilities.

You can make a VCD with Roxio Easy Media Creator 7. If you want to make a
VCD with it, you have to select make a new DVD. The option to select between
making a VCD or a DVD is under "make a new DVD". I don't know why this is,
rather stupid to hide make a VCD under make a new DVD but so it goes.

Just do a stright copy of your mp3 to the cd and will play as a slide show
on most new home cd rigs. I also like Nero.

Vince,
I use Pinnacle's Studio 8 software - but before that - I used Microsofts
Moviemaker and would have continued it if it had had a music 'editor' to crop
music on it. It's really easy to use - but I think that you can only get it
now when you download the SP2 pack. SP2 made my Pinnacle not work. But,
that is the cheapest that I have seen with good results. Hope that helps -
and you might already have Moviemaker on your computer and now know it! :)
