I have a Creative Labs TNT 16mb video card in my system. I have a Vision
Teck TNT2 32MB I want to install. My system is a PII400 AX6B+ mb.
Can I use this card without concern about damaging my mb or my monitor.

Well, no. There is some risk. If you are not sure of what you are
doing then do some homework.

Are they both AGP cards or what? We need more details.

Have you ever installed anything in a 'puter before?

You won't damage hardware doing this (unless you do it with the machine
still plugged into the wall, turning it off isn't enough!).

Normal process in windows is to set the driver for the video card in the
device manager to standard VGA PCI (even if it's AGP) and reboot. You'll
see ugly video but that good. Shut down, unplug, install the new card,
restart and then install it's drivers when windows asks for them etc. You
might have to tell the driver what kind of monitor your using and set the
refresh in the "adapter" tab in the video properties from -adapter default-
to -optimal- after doing this but that should be it.

Yes, you'll be fine. Just download the newest Nvidia drivers. Expect a
decent (if not great) improvement. If you can find one, try to get a GF3
ti200 AGP card off Ebay, it will REALLY blow your socks... :8-))
