video card suggestions A7N8X

hi, i am going to replace my ATI rage 128 32mb video card and would
like to know which brand works better( from your expleiences) .... I would
like to step to up to 8X with at least 256 ram onboard

my system now
A7N8X Athlon XP 2600 Barton
512 mb ram

Happy with my Crucial 9800 Pro.

Ditto with my ATI 9600 Pro (256)
You may want to look at the ATI 9600 XT also - I have read that the price
differential is not that much, and quite below the price of the 9800Pro (or
9800XT)
You have in most cases, a choice between the ATI-manufactered cards or
others such as Powercolor, Crucial, Asus which use the ATI processor.
Google-up some graphics card reviews, so you are informed in your choice,
then shop around. Watch the warranty. Good luck.
