Video Card ram

No matter what video card I put in, no matter if I update
the mb bios or load 20 different versions of the video
card drivers, the card/s never run with the full
compliment of ram ie: Asus Ge4 ti4800 with 128meg of ram,
only runs with 64meg working, xmicro ge4ti4200 with 64meg
ony runs with 16 or 32 meg working.
Too date I have updated the mb Bios, at least 5 different
vertions of the video card drivers, played around with
the ram etc etc. The only thing so far I haven't tried
is reinstalling XP.
Any ideas?

Hello

Maybe the slot on the mother board is defective have you even
considered that, but you can reload windows and see if that helps
maybe that could be your last option
