"This device canot start (Code 10)" is the message I am
getting in reference to my video card (nvidia FX 5200 PCI)
in device manager. I can disable then re-enable to remove
message---device manager then indicates display is
working properly but it isn't. I have re-seated the video
card, upgraded the drivers etc..., etc.., to no effect. I
have even installed a different card this one an older
AGP nvidia GX 400. I get the same message with the older
card. Can anyone help???

Mash, make sure the AGP drivers for the motherboard are correctly installed.
Also, try the generic 'detonator' drivers provided by nvidia - they may be
more compatible with your system.

First, I hope "mashworth" was referring to a real PCI video card and not a
mis-configured AGP.
