jeff

i had recently re-installed xp, and for one reason or
another, it will no longer detect my video card, although
the monitor is connected to it and works fine.

this being said, it will not detect the drivers that i
install for the card, and therefore i cannot run any
programs that require a graphics card

any suggestions?

thanks

Install your motherboard chipset drivers. These should contain the AGP slot
drivers and should allow you to install the correct, and up to date, video
card drivers.

I just wanted to thank you for this post. I could not resolve the same issue either until I managed to come across this information. After I updated my motherboard chipset drivers, my NVidia card was once again recognized (it worked before I upgraded from XP to XP Pro). Thanks!
