video card memmory shareing

how can i reduce the memory shared for my vido card?
becouse of the shared memory for my videocard my computer is too slow but in
winXP i didn't have this problem. what should i do?

What you don't want to do is reduce video memory. You want to increase RAM.
 
Typically, that is set in the system BIOS. To change the setting, enter the
BIOS setup as the system starts up. Locate the appropriate setting make the
change, save the change and exit. See your computer manual whether on a CD
or on the maker's web site.

As Mike wrote, you really want to increase the system's memory. So, look at
this as a short-term solution. If you decrease memory too much, you might
see various video problems such as pixilation on fast changing scenes, frame
freezes or hesitations, blurring of objects.
