Hi

I am a trainer for an organisation and I am interested in creating a powerpoint training presentation that has recorded/captured keystokes. This would be like screenshots but for a whole task (like a video screenshot) rather than just one picture.

Does anyone know of a package that would do this - preferably free but we do have a limited budget (im probably asking alot with the free bit but you gotta ask!!!)

Im not sure I have explained this very clearly but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

kind regards
rexmann

Hmm, you could try Windows Media Encoder. It is free and I think it is
supposed to do screen capture. If that works you could use the resultant
Windows Media Video (WMV) file(s) and feed it/them into Movie Maker 2 (free
on Windows XP) and put in titles, text and other neat things. Movie Maker
saves the results as a WMV file also. Any of these WMV files can be
inserted into a PowerPoint presentation and played.

Good Luck.

In addition, if you have difficulty with Media Encoder, there are Camtasia
by TechSmith and Hypercam by Hyperionics.

Thanks Sonia

I will check them both out and also post back at a later date when I have worked them out.
