when capturing video via USB2 from an analogue source the recording freezes
after 21 seconds every time without fail. It is as if the computer is running
out of memory. I have a pentium 4 3.0ghz processor with 1gb RAM and 160GB
hard drive.
Running Windows Movie Maker version 2.1 in XP

Anyone any ideas what the problem may be and how to resolve?

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your VHS home movies...you don't need
a computer. A DVD Recorder may be worth
a look.
