video capture

Hi,

I just bought a new computer (ASUS P4C800-E, ATI 9800 Pro) and try to
capture video with Ulead Media Studio 7 from a Sony DV. But I only get the
TV signal of the ATI card (ATI Rage Theater). When I try to change the video
source: device control (MS 1394 Device Control), I get the message: Unable
to open the specified device.

When I try with Windows Movie Maker, I get the message: the video device is
currently in use.

I don't have any other device plug-in. So I am realy troubled.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Either the driver for your Firewire port is bad/hosed/incorrectly
installed or there is something running on your machine that is
monopolizing the firewire port.

It's not an ATI issue.
