Hi to all,

I want to transfer video to my harddrive with the
intention of burning to DVD. However no matter what
capture program i use, my Gainward GeForce 4 video card
is not recognised, although I have a connection from
video to the s-connector (vivo)....I know the cable is
OK. Is the vivo connector broken or is there something
else that needs to be installed, enabled.

regards

Ensure the S-Video on the GeForce card is actually VIVO and not just VO... a
video out connection is ONLY one way... ie you can output on a tv, but
NOTHING will be input.

Hi Cari,

I am assured by my documentation that the card is VIVO.
The set up disc comes complete with Video Capture
software. However, when i have tried to re-install this
software, since my first post and I was getting a
hardware not installed correctly'. I have tried
uninstalling and re-installing severl times but to no
avail.

Just to confirm, the Video Card I am using is as follows:
Gainward NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200
