I have a Sony TRV22....when trying to capture video in Windows Moviemaker through a USB connection, the preview window and resulting captured video appears pixeleated and off color. I'm not sure what the issue is, since i have imported video without a problem in the past...This seems to be a new thing. I have tried almost all of the video quality options in Moviemaker. The video quality looks perfect on the camera LCD... Any suggestions would be appreciated

Have you done it before with MM2 and a usb connection? I
thought MM2 needed firewire.
Anyway, as usb is so slow and unreliable it would be best
to use firewire and capture at proper dv-avi standard to
get best results. OHCI compliant ieee1394 cards are so
cheap these days I do not know why anyone tries to use
usb, apart from the fact that the camera makers say it
can be done and it is semi useful for mpeg compressed
movies from the meory stick, but then you can transfer
these using windows explorer anyay.

I have done it successfully with MM2 using USB, however I will give the firewire a shot soon as i get the cord. Thanks for the feedback!
