Video Capture Device Not Listed

When I open Movie Maker and try to capture Video the camcorder I have is not listed in the Video Capture Devices. It is an Hitachi DZ-MV270A NTSC. I have also gone on the Hitachi site and serched for answer there. It comes with a Movie Program, but I like the Movie Maker much better, if i can only get it to work.
 
That model camcorder burns the video onto a DVD and importing directly from
the DVD into Movie Maker isn't supported.
