video camera

i plugged my video camera into the usb port, but my computer isn't picking it
up. it's as if nothing is even plugged in and i've tried searching for it on
my computer but i can't find it anywhere. and then after that i don't know
if i know how to make it into a dvd. PLEASE HELP!!!

Ifyou insist on USB vs IEEE1394(Firewire), you most likely need to dl a driver
from your vidcam's maker.

Firewire is best for transferring video. Chances
are good that your camera and computer already
have the necessary connections but you may need
to buy a cable. Read the documentation for your
camera and computer.
