I am attempting to connect an analog video camera (JVC SuperVHS) to a USB
port through a S-VHS to USB adapter (Belkin) that should provide A/V signals
to the computer.

This set-up was previously plug and play on my old computer's USB, running
Windows ME. Windows XP does not even detect that I have a USB device playing
a movie on my honkin' big new 64 bit machine.

Any Suggestions?

Cheers,

LaZ

Laz,
Did you install the XP driver for this device on your PC? If not you need to. If the following device is Belkin F5U228:

http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?download=F5U228&lang=1&mode=

But you may have a problem, because I believe that the driver is for the 32-bit version of WinXP, not the 64-bit version. You may need to call Belkin and see if you can use that adapter with your version of XP.
