Video but No Audio

I know this subject has been discussed here before, but I'm totally new to
Movie Maker and to my Sony camcorder with hard drive, so I'd appreciate if
one of you knowledgeable guys out there helped me.
I imported the MPG file into the Movie Maker, however, while playing clip,
the audio is not playing. When I just view the clip in the Picture Motion
Browser, the software that came with the camcorder, both the audio and video
play just fine.
Can anyone help me, please?
