Hi!

After reinstalling my computer. Windows XP Professinal to
Windows XP Home SP1 (+ all avail. Windows Update) my video
(AVI) files more or less hangs the cpu. I say more or
less because the mouse freezes in intervalls of 4-5
seconds and then its released for maybe1-2 seconds until
it starts over freezing again.

The process doing this i the explorer.exe. It starts
doing this after starting and avi-file in movie-maker,
media player OR EVEN browsing the avi-files in MyComputer!

All my AVI files are recorded at my computer from my SONY
DV-camera in Windows XP Profesional. Now it want playback
any more in Win XP Home. Could it be a codec problem? I
did install the fix 327979 that should adress certain
video problems, but now I dont know what to do anymore
