HELP!!!!..
My audio and video are stuttering and sticking in the preview window. It seems like it happens after I edit or add something..

I start playing back my video to edit it. It looks great in the preview window until I stop to add something or still a photo or something like that. The video or audio or both get stuck. It stutters and the audio and video are no longer in synch!
Can anyone save my sanity????

THANKS!!!!!!

Hello there,

There is a chance that your system needs optimizing. Go to my site and have
a look at the Movie Maker tutorial, in particular the part about speed.
Here is a link that will take you straight to the right

Mary Jo,

Has it been working fine and this is a new condition, or is this your first
time using Movie Maker 2?

Hi again,

I forgot to mention, your problem is typical of a very badly fragmented
file system and or a system that is very low on resources. The FAQ on my
system will give you some of the pointers you may need. Make sure to check
on the links from within the dialog on my site...they are links to the true
experts for the relevant subjects.

You may even decide to use either the program "Delete Dross" or better the
program "Rename Codec's" which has a more recent version of Delete Dross
built into it. After using the Delete Dross program you should perform a
system defrag. This will optimize the hard drive and help speed up access
to the files. In an extreme case just file fragmentation can cause your
problem, but in a milder case can still cause you problems if the system is
low on resources. Being low on resources DOES NOT mean being low on memory
(RAM) but check out my FAQ for more.
