Well it works if I put in a network card but won't work with the onboard lan. The manual is very vague regarding wol, it doesn't
even say if it works with the onboard netcard. Does anyone know if it does? Is there something I need to do to get it to work. I've
search extensively for a solution but can't find anything about this.

Thanks,

Should we take it as read that you've done the obvious like installing the
drivers for the onboard? Anything in the BIOS about the network interface?
What OS? Does the OS indicate that it knows the interface is there (like My
Computer -> Hardware -> Device Manager under XP). I have no knowledge of
this system but I've been considering buying one of their "fanless" boards
to build a small network attached storage unit using a small Linux runtime
and if there is a generic problem I'd sure like to find out before I go
ahead.

I'm using XP and have done all the obvious stuff. The network card was in
use for approx 12 months with no problem except I cannot get the WOL to
work. It might be that it doesn't actually work with the onboard lan. It has
the three pin connector for wol so maybe only works with pci netcards.

Don't worry, they work very well. There is a 12 volt version available now
that doesn't require the usual power supply.
