Hi.
Just removed a worm cirus from a friends PC.
Defragged, removed temp folders, etc but still very slow.
Any ideas.
PS
Task manager is running at 100%!!!

Hey. Go into CTRL ALT DEL interface and go to the
Processes tab and sort by the CPU field. This tells you
which programs are using all the processor speed. It the
image name is something running on your user name (not
system) and its taking up all the cpu speed, if its not
explorer then close it. Should fix your problem.

Try "Ad-aware 6" & or "Spybot Search & Destroy" to remove
adware, tracking cookies and spybots that can slow down a
system by grabbing/stealing resources. I also checked on
the Symantec web site for the Cirus Worm and found zero
info or removal tool info for that virus?
