Okay, here is a good one... I am runnign winXP with all the latest patche

I had the problem of the registry saying that the administrator had it locked. So I downloaded a reg editor and took care of that. (couldnt use regedit, said admin had it locked

Then, to be safe I downloaded Norton Anti-virus and ran that....

Now, when I log in (I am an administrator on my own machine) it says "windows cannot find the program spoolog.exe please search for it blah blah blah"

When I search for it, it doesnt exist. When I search the net for it (google) it doesnt exists.

Also, I cannot run ANY programs on my machine. Everytime I try, windows reports that it cannot for the program I am trying to run. If I right click on it and select "run as" and do it as Administrator it works fine. However, if I log into my admin account, it still wont work unless I right click etc.

Anyone have any bright ideas

Hi

Which Registry program did you use - that could be the problem? See if it
has got an 'undo' option, then try the following link to MVP Kelly's web
page:
