Margaret

my computer is brand new, and I have burned about 3-5 CDs
on it so far. the other day, I went to burn a CD, and I
get several messages, each indicating that my CD won't
burn. that it either won't fit the files (on a blank) and
stuff-IM me on sheerblonde823 fast!

Sorry IM.

If you're using CD-R to burn, either that CDR is arleady
close session which won't let you burn new file.

Only CD-RW can burn new files.

CDR(W) is about 650MB minimum.

What?
You can burn multi-session CD-R discs. That is, you can burn half a CD, then
come back to it later and finish burning the CD. This is also possible with
CD-RWs.
Also, there is no minimum. You mean Maximum. Depending on the disc, there is
a 650MB maximum (or 700, whatever your disc is). You can not burn more than
this. You can certainly burn less, though.
