I have a macro assigned to a button that saves all attachments in the
currently selected email. It allows me to choose a folder then saves all
attachments, naming them based on date, time, and filename. This all works
fine.

If I minimize Outlook (it goes to the system tray) and walk away for a few
minutes allowing the screensaver to come on, when I unlock the computer
(Vista Ultimate 32bit) and log back on the VB Editor Window is open and the
code for my macro is displayed. This only seems to happen if I receive an
email while the computer is locked. What could possibly be making this
happen??

update....

it doesnt matter whether ot not i receive an email. if i lock the computer
(windows key + L) then unlock it, the editor window is magically open and my
macro code is onscreen.... what the %$#&?!?

This has been happening to me as well for years. I call it the "Ghost
Editor". I've pretty much learned to live with it.
